Art Explorations includes Jewelry Making, Watercolor Painting, Mask Making. Fantasy Illustration, Drawing & Colored pencil Technique and a Native American Rock Art Tour.  

Art, Journaling & Sharing for Pre-teen & Teen girls
This class is designed to nurture a spirit of friendship, understanding and mutual support among pre-teen and teen girls, while developing artistic and writing skills.

All Individuals are innately creative and benefit from the expression and development of their creativity. Creative self-expression can be a vehicle for well being, increased self-esteem and feelings of harmony, confidence and fulfillment. Art activities can also provide a tool for nurturing a spirit of community among diverse population.

About the Teacher
Shirley taught a wide variety of art and writing classes for the Multnomah Educational Service District’s Talented and Gifted Program for 10 years. She has also taught for the Regional Arts and Culture Council, The Training of the Heart Family Retreat Program and in Alternative High Schools, Group Homes, and in special programs for at-risk youth.
